Radio is hopping right now. I will talk about it more in the newsletter but two things are going on – first it’s summer which is slower for advertising. Second it’s a slower economy and ad budgets for mediums like radio often get cut. So what does that mean? In a nutshell, program directors have more airtime to fill right now. Why not come up with a fun promo and some excellent content and pitch some stations in your area? If you’re really ambitious and you want a great list to purchase for national talk shows, Gordons Radio List is an excellent place to start.
