Wax founder, Bonnie Harris, is dedicated to creating a new model for the marketing and public relations industry. She is a media strategist, writer and blogger whose work crosses all media channels and functions.
Bonnie founded Wax Marketing in 2002 in St. Paul, Minnesota. The company provides integrated marketing communications campaigns that combine traditional media, new media and social media messaging strategies.
About Bonnie Harris - Bonnie Harris is a media strategist with a unique skillset that combines experience traditional marketing and PR with new media, social media and events marketing. Bonnie is also a writer and blogger whose work has appeared in national magazines including HerSports and YourHealth, and even Hooters Magazine where she was the contributing editor for non-traditional sports. Bonnie has interviewed celebrities from the late David Carradine to Ronnie Brown of the Miami Dolphins.
Prior to founding Wax Marketing, Bonnie worked in the technology industry for companies such as Keane, Inc. and Renaissance Worldwide. At Renaissance, Bonnie rose to the role of EVP where she was responsible for a territory consisting of nine profit centers in eight states, over 1000 people and an annual budget of $100 million. After realizing she was not cut out for life in the 'bored' room, Bonnie left to start Wax Marketing.
Bonnie has been quoted and/or featured in several publications including USA Today, Selling Power, PRWeek and BusinessVision Magazine. She holds an Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. Bonnie and her family reside in St. Paul, Minnesota and Breckenridge, Colorado.
Wax Marketing is a socially conscious corporation and donates 10% of its time to non-profit organizations working to eliminate poverty and preserve the environment.
